Qualified candidate should have at least 5 years experience as a lab assistant, lab technician or blood bank phlebotomist; supervisory experience preferred. The successful candidate will supervise the day-to-day activities of the lab, technologists and technicians working in the unit. Responsible for the design, creation and maintenance of test protocols, batteries of protocols and report formats. Must use advanced knowledge to review other technologist work as a competency and quality control function.  This position requires possession of a current Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. 

 

 

PART-TIME ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN (OBGYN)

The qualified candidate must have at least one year experience as an ultrasound tech in OB/GYN. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various diagnostic ultrasound examinations and presenting findings to physicians for Obstetrical management. Will also assist physicians with amniocentesis and other procedures. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical ultrasound program.
