LSU Healthcare Network: Now Running Allscripts TouchWorks EHR v.11
LSU Healthcare Network (LSUHN) officially announced today that it is now leveraging information technology to better serve its patients. The healthcare network is pioneering as one of the selected Allscripts clients around the United States to offer the newly-released TouchWorks version 11 product suite. This feature-loaded software upgrade from Allscripts Healthcare Solutions now offers the network's physicians a formal electronic health record (EHR) software suite including Base, Charge, Rx+, Document, Scan, iHealth, and Result. The network will be completing its initial EHR rollout on October 29, 2007, finalizing its entire Allscripts product suite by adding Note, Order, and Analytics (reporting and clinical business intelligence) for physicians.
