Geriatric Oncology Services:
with LSUís Oncology Department, LSUís Department of Geriatric Medicine offers a
specialized Geriatric Oncology program for elderly cancer patients. Our
multidisciplinary team provides clinical expertise in both geriatric medicine
and oncology in order to specifically address the needs of older cancer
patients and their families.
Oncology program utilizes the latest research and literature to develop
comprehensive assessment tools and provide the patient with the appropriate
